How Many Feet Does Your Medical Alert System Cover?

Hi, guys! So a lot of you are probably wondering how far our buttons will reach. If you’re concerned about the button working in a specific part of your home or your yard, my recommendation is to test your button to see if it will reach.
That’s really the only way to know for sure. And you can just do that by pressing the button and letting it go all the way through to dispatch and letting them know that you’re testing.
Our in-home buttons have a range of a thousand feet. Now keep in mind that this range was tested in an open field, so of course, depending on what your walls are made out of it may break down that range just a little bit. I would say to picture a thousand feet probably about three football fields in length in any direction from your home. Or we also like to tell our customers that it should cover about two acres.
So I think you’re more than fine with our in-home buttons using them in and around your home. If you go further than that, like drive or go on hikes or maybe you live on a large property, you may want to look into our GPS device. That way you can get help wherever you are in the United States.
