Hi, I’m Kayla with Bay Alarm Medical. Today, I’m going to go over a question that we get all the time from pretty much every customer and that is which button should I get? I get it, we have a few different options so I’m going to go through each of them and hopefully, help you decide. First I want to say that all of our buttons are waterproof. We want you to be covered at all times so it’s definitely important that you are keeping a button on you while you’re showering since that’s the most risky place for a fall.
The first button I’ll talk about is our standard necklace button. This is probably going to be most popular that you’ll see and, oftentimes, people will take it off and put it on their nightstand while they’re sleeping which we have a solution for but, again, we want you to be covered all the time so you should definitely be sleeping with something as well which brings me to my next option, our standard wrist button. This has been found to be a lot more comfortable to sleep with.
It is elastic so you don’t have to mess with any clasps or anything. Once you have it adjusted to the size of your wrist, you can just pull it on and off like so. A couple of other options we have depending on your situation may be of value to you would be our fall detection necklace. Again, waterproof but this is going to be used if you have any concern that you won’t be able to press a button for yourself in the event of a fall or accident.
How this works is if you cannot press a button, it will send the signal for you and we will still send help to your location. Keep in mind that you always want to press your button if you’re able to. This is another option that you can add on to your service. These are our wall buttons, very helpful in any house just in case you take your button off for any reason. I definitely recommend putting one in the bathroom. Again, it’s the riskiest place for a fall.
If you don’t have your button on in the middle of the night and get up to use the bathroom, you’ll have this in there so it’s a good backup plan most definitely. That is all of our button options. Give us a call and we can ask you some questions about your very specific situation. One of our care consultants can recommend what they think is best for you. You can reach us at 877-522-9633. Thank you so much for watching.
